ā Sausage

šgravy..... ughhh
So normally we are some syrup on our biscuits and eggs type of girls, but today we tried gravy on our biscuits for the first time. We aināt too shame to admit that we pulled up to Biscuits+Groovy right after our morning walkš but it was worth it. We're now adding biscuits and gravy to the list of things we want to eat on the regular.
Location: It's a food truck with two locations. We went to the Barton Springs location, but they also have another one on Duval St. The Barton Springs location is right down the street from popular locations like Butler Shores, Peter Pan Mini Golf, Ziker Park, and of course Barton Spring Pool. It's a small truck with a few picnic tables if you want to eat outside.
Instagram Worthiness: I mean.....just take a look at the picture and decide for yourself lol
Menu: The menu starts with the standard biscuits and gravy plate and gets more lit with an addition of topics at every level. We love the music inspired dish names like "The Aretha" and "The M.C. Hammer" and like how you can pretty much pile on any breakfast topping you could dream of. And if you want to keep it simple and just get a classic biscuit with jam you can do that too. Their biscuits are good enough to stand on their own.
Price: $2-$20 for your biscuit dish and a drink.
Taste: Their biscuits are so soft and fluffy and the bacon, eggs, sausage, and cheese on top taste fresh. We talking thickk cut bacon and farm fresh eggs yall. The gravy was a good way to hold it all together but we wish it was a tad bit more seasoned. We even tried their fresh squeezed orange juice and we can honestly say it really does hit different when itās fresh squeezed. š

Service: Since we ordered online our interactions with the people who were there was real short. They weren't super friendly but they got straight to the point and had your food ready.
Who Would Like This Spot: Anybody that wants a quick hearty breakfast, people who like brunch outdoors, and anybody that grew up on biscuits and gravy.
Rating: 7/10 Seasoning Bottles. We need them to sprinkle a lil TexJoy in the gravy.
Unapologetic Tip: Order online for faster pick up if you're not planning to eat there.
Have you tried biscuits and gravy?
