Are You Margarita Sippin or Margarita Chugging?

After last week, y'all can go ahead and put us in the chugging section. When we tell y'all we are sending all kinds of praise to the Lord above for getting us through that crazy winter storm last week. It really felt like we were on the set of a apocalypse movie or something. Thankfully we made it and the skies and roads cleared just in time for National Margarita Day! We're not big on weekday drinking, but a national day like this calls for a special celebration. And even though we're celebrating on a budget, there's a few places we can always count on to give us the turn up we're looking for.
📍State Fare Kitchen & Bar: 947 Gessner Rd Suite B-190, Houston, TX 77024

Why pick one when you can try them all? State Fares legendary Margarita flight is $17 today and worth every penny if you’re indecisive like we are. This one falls a little closer to the splurge side of our budget but when you consider the fact that nobody should ever have to choose between a Classic Margarita and an Italian Margarita, it validates itself. If you haven't been to State Fare, visiting for the Margarita Flight and some appetizers is a good way to try them out. The flight is available year round and also a reliable way to get a lil tipsy.
📍Taco Cabana: Multiple Locations

How can you say no to a $2 margarita, especially when you can get it in a drive thru? Taco Cabana never fails to come through for us when we're in the need for a Tex Mex fix. And, they've been doing the damn thing with their margarita flavors and recurring menu items. We're still waiting for those Shrimp Quesadillas to come back tho.
📍Chuy's: Multiple Locations

Chuy's always comes through for any drink related holiday. It doesn't matter if you're celebrating National Tequila Day or Cinco De Mayo, they will have a celebratory special and cup waiting for you. On days like this they usually have their normal Happy Hour Specials with deals on drink size upgrades and extended times. These are good margs for those who just want sometime cold to sip on while eating chips, queso, and Creamy Jalapeño dip. Don't count on these to get you lit tho.
📍Orleans Seafood Kitchen: 20940 Katy Fwy G, Katy, TX 77449

News Flash! You don't always have to eat Tex Mex food with your margarita's. Places like Orleans are available to give you options for when you're in a drinking mood sans chips and salsa. Instead you can get boudin balls, fried catfish, and even gumbo with a margarita on the side. And you can even mix your margs with their Hurricane and 190 Octane flavors for a Monday night you might actually regret lol.
📍Gloria's Latin Cuisine: Multiple Locations

We couldn’t forget about Gloria's. All we gonna say is.... if you know, you know. We can't even count how many times Gloria's margaritas had us looking for our phone when it was in our pocket. The black bean dip also hits different when you're two margs in. It's an experience we highly recommend for any margarita lover.
What's your favorite margarita spot? Tell us in the comments so we can add it to our must try list!
